Online renewal can be straightforward when the existing record is correct. First check whether the card only needs renewing or whether changed details mean a modification or another application category is more appropriate.
Check the category before you start
Use renewal when the existing NICOP is expiring or expired and its underlying details remain accurate. Changes to a name, marital status, address, profession or family record may require modification rather than a simple renewal.
Prepare consistent records
Have the existing card, current passports and relevant family information ready. Compare names, dates and passport details across documents. Explain differences instead of copying an incorrect detail into a new application.
Submit and track officially
Complete the application through the official PakID route, pay the fee shown there and retain the application reference. NADRA may request additional evidence and controls the decision, processing and delivery.
