For most UK enquiries, “renewing a NADRA card” means renewing a NICOP. Confirm the document name and current card status first because CNIC, NICOP, POC and family certificates use different routes.
Identify the document
Read the title on the existing card and note whether it is valid, expired, lost or damaged. If there is no existing overseas identity record, a new application rather than a renewal may be required.
Review details that have changed
Check passports, address, marital status, name, profession and linked family information. A requested change may need a modification category and supporting records instead of renewal alone.
Use PakID and keep the reference
Follow the official PakID instructions, upload the evidence requested for the case, pay only through the official payment stage and keep the application reference for tracking. Additional evidence may be requested.
