Overseas Pakistanis may be able to use the official NADRA and Ministry of Foreign Affairs online Power of Attorney service. The correct wording and legal effect depend on what authority is being granted, so obtain independent legal advice where the document or transaction requires it.
Prepare the people and documents
The official process asks for information about the executor, attorney and witnesses, along with identity records, contact details, addresses and a scanned Power of Attorney document. Confirm names and identity numbers carefully before submission.
Complete the official online stages
The published journey includes creating an account, completing the application, uploading documents, biometrics, paying the official fee, attending a video interview when required and giving final consent. The official portal controls acceptance and any request for further information.
Know when legal advice is needed
Application assistance is not legal drafting or advice. A Pakistani lawyer or other appropriately qualified adviser should confirm whether the document gives the intended authority and satisfies the receiving organisation, court or property transaction.

Official guidance takes priority over this article and may change after the review date.
Nadra Card Centre provides optional paid application preparation. We do not make official decisions, provide government services or guarantee processing, travel, approval or delivery.
